Abstract

Improved performance of nurses in hospitals can be seen through direct observation, namely the process of providing nursing care or reports and nursing patient records (documentation) that have been given the results of nursing care. This type of research is analytic observational using a cross sectional approach. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire which was distributed to 171 nurses working in the inpatient installation of RSU Bahteramas, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 20 for windows software. The results of multiple linear regression tests show that the variable job satisfaction with a value of p = 0.920 > 0.05 so that the variable job satisfaction has no significant effect on the performance of nurses in the inpatient installation at RSU Bahteramas, Southeast Sulawesi Province and the burnout variable with a value of p = 0.000 <0. 05 so that the Burnout variable has a greater influence on the performance of nurses in the inpatient installation at RSU Bahteramas, Southeast Sulawesi Province. It is suggested to the hospital to pay more attention to all nurses' conditions and should minimize burnout by holding morning exercises on certain days so that they are fitter and have a calmer mind at work, carry out family gathering activities so that they are more compact in the team so that the nurse's performance can increase.
