Abstract

Organizational commitment refers to the level of emotional attachment, loyalty, and responsibility a employee has towards their organization, reflecting how closely they are connected to the organization’s goals and values, as well as their willingness to work for the common good. In the context of hospitals, nurse performance, which includes clinical skills, accuracy in medication administration, communication with patients, adherence to medical procedures, and teamwork, can be influenced by their level of organizational commitment. This study aims to assess the impact of organizational commitment on nurse performance at RSUD Konawe in 2024. Using a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional design, the study sampled 72 nurses from a population of 253. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Wald test analysis with SPSS 21. The results show a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Thus, there is a significant impact of organizational commitment on nurse performance at RSUD Konawe in 2024. This confirms that the level of organizational commitment plays a crucial role in influencing nurse performance in the hospital environment
