Abstract

Medicine is one of the pharmaceutical supplies that plays an important role in efforts to cure diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the management of drug management in the pharmacy installation of Dewi Sartika General Hospital, Kendari. The method used was qualitative. Data collection was carried out by direct interviews and observations. The results of the study explained that planning based on running low stock, needs, disease patterns, e-catalogs, procurement based on direct purchases Distribution is carried out when the drug is needed by patients, doctors and inpatient or outpatient rooms. Recording and reporting are carried out to find out the stock of drugs that are empty and those that will be ordered. It is expected that the Pharmacy Installation of Dewi Sartika General Hospital, Kendari, will form a planning team, in Distribution it should guarantee the availability of drugs at distributors and anticipate drug shortages. Drug procurement should be carried out before a drug stock out occurs. Recording and reporting should follow the procedures in the SOP
