The Effect Of Menstrual Counseling On Readiness To Face Menarche In Grade IV, V and VI Students at SDN 1 Lasiwa North Buton Regency

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of menstrual counseling on readiness to face menarche in grade IV, V and VI students at SDN 1 Lasiwa North Buton Regency. This study used pre-experimental research methods. The population in the study was students of SDN1 Lasiwa classes IV, V. and VI totaling 70 female students and the sample in this study was students of grades IV, V, and VI who had not received their first menstruation (Menarche) whose total number was 53 students. The sampling method uses Purposive Sampling. The results of the study obtained a McNemar Test value of 0.000 < 0.05, thus the provision of menstrual counseling has an influence on student readiness in facing menarche and the results of the calculation of Z calculate obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 , or 0.00 < 1.96 and an Exact Sig. (2-tailed) value then H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of providing menstrual counseling on the readiness of female students to face menarche at SDN 1 Lasiwa North Buton Regency.
