The relationship between gestational age and the incidence of neonatal jaundice at the Bahteramas General Hospital of Southeast Sulawesi Province

This study aims to determine the relationship between gestational age and the incidence of neonatal jaundice at the Bahteramas General Hospital of Southeast Sulawesi Province. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. This research will be conducted in July 2023. The population in this study is all infants registered in the Nicu Room register book at the Bahteramas General Hospital of Southeast Sulawesi Province in 2022 amounting to 202 babies, with a study sample of 202 people, sampling techniques using total sampling techniques. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between gestational age and the incidence of neonatal jaundice where the p-value was 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between gestational age and the incidence of neonatal jaundice at the Bahteramas General Hospital of Southeast Sulawesi Province.
