Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of parity and BBL with the incidence of perineal rupture at the Poly-Polia Health Center, East Kolaka Regency. This type of research is Quantitative research, with an Ordinal regression analysis  approach with a Negative Log-log  model with the equation f(x) = -log(-log(x)).  This research has been carried out at the Poli-Polia health center of East Kolaka Regency. The sample of this study amounted to 395 people recorded in medical records for 2018-2022 at the Poly-Polia Health Center of East Kolaka Regency using the Total Sampling method.

The results of the study are known to the value of Output Parameter estimates to test the hypothesis or see which variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable. It appears that parity is insignificant in influencing the dependent variable. In contrast to BBL which has a significance of 0.000 below 0.05.

It was concluded that there was no effect of parity on the incidence of perineal rupture with a value of sig 0755 > 0.05 where Ha was rejected and H0 was accepted and there was an effect of birth weight on the incidence of perineal rupture, where the value of sig 0.000 < 0.05, where Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected.
