Abstract

Research Objective To determine the relationship between maternal age and the incidence of childbirth complications at the Kolono Health Center, South Konawe Regency. This type of research is quantitative using a cross-sectional study design, namely the collection, analysis and description of information and data systematically, by increasing understanding of certain phenomena. This research has been carried out in the working area of the Kolono Health Center, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, from May to June 2023. The samples in this study were all mothers with childbirth complications with a sample number of 134 people. The sampling technique was carried out in this study using probability samples, namely Total Sampling.  It is known from the results of data analysis and Chi Square value 20,131 p value = 0.000 smaller than 0.05 which concluded there is a significant relationship between the variable Age of the mother and the incidence of childbirth complications
