One plant that has antibacterial activity is turmeric rhizomes. This study aims to determine the best formulation of mask preparations against physical evaluation and antibacterial inhibitory power of turmeric rhizome face mask preparations (Curcuma domestica Val.) combination with rice flour (Oriza sativa L.). The object of this study is a mask product of turmeric rhizomes and rice flour with a concentration of formula I (5% turmeric rhizomes: 95% rice flour), formula II (10% turmeric rhizomes: 90% rice flour), formula III (15% turmeric rhizomes: 85% rice flour). Data analysis in this study used the ANOVA one-way test then continued with the tukey test. The results of the study on the formulation of turmeric rhizome face mask (Curcuma domestica Val.) combination with rice flour (Oriza sativa L.) as an anti-acne have an inhibitory zone in Formula I of 9.1 mm, formula II of 13.4 mm and FIII of 17.8 mm.
Nur Anugrah, Rahayu Apriyanti, Nurfitriyana Rahmat Copyright (c) 2024 Nur Anugrah, Rahayu Apriyanti, Nurfitriyana Rahmat https://ojs.pelitaibu.ac.id/index.php/jpasaik/article/view/128 Thu, 01 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of Family Support on the First Visit (K1) in Antenatal Care Examination at Kolaka Health Center https://ojs.pelitaibu.ac.id/index.php/jpasaik/article/view/129
This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design that aims to evaluate the effect of family support on the first visit (K1) in the Antenatal Care (ANC) examination at the Kolaka Health Center. Conducted in May 2023, the study involved 52 pregnant women who were undergoing pregnancy care at the Puskesmas. The methodology of this study used logistic regression tests to analyze the relationship between family support variables and K1 ANC. Results showed that family support had a significant influence on pregnant women's decision to undergo their first ANC visit. Analysis of the model using the Hosmer and Lemeshow Test showed the feasibility of a model with a chi-square value of 3.152 and a significance of 0.215. These results indicate the suitability of the model with observational data. In conclusion, increasing family support can be an effective strategy in increasing the participation of pregnant women in ANC services at the Kolaka Health Center, potentially improving maternal and infant health.
Hernidawati Khairul, Rosmawati Ibrahim, Sulfi A Yusuf Copyright (c) 2024 Hernidawati Khairul, Rosmawati Ibrahim, Sulfi A Yusuf https://ojs.pelitaibu.ac.id/index.php/jpasaik/article/view/129 Thu, 01 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Description of drug storage and disposal behavior in Stikes Pelita Ibu students https://ojs.pelitaibu.ac.id/index.php/jpasaik/article/view/130
This study aims to determine the description of drug storage and disposal behavior in STIKES Pelita Ibu students that is appropriate, and to determine the sociodemographic characteristics of respondents. Conducted in July 2023, it involved 435 infants who received DPT 1, 2, and 3 immunizations at BLUD UPTD Abeli Medical Center in 2022, with total sampling. The results of the analysis showed no significant relationship between maternal education and adherence to DPT immunization in infants (p = 0.674 > 0.05). The findings conclude that other factors, such as access to information and maternal awareness, may play a more important role in decisions regarding DPT immunization programs for infants in these regions. CPD involves an imbalance between the fetal head and the mother's pelvis, especially in environments with limited resource risk. With a significant prevalence of CPD at RSU Bahteramas and Kendari City General Hospital in 2018-2022, this study used a prospective observational method with a case-control design. The study findings showed a significant association between maternal height and the incidence of CPD, where height below 145 cm was a risk factor. These results are in line with related literature, highlighting the need for close monitoring in low-posture pregnant women. Therefore, this study provides a new understanding of the correlation between maternal body dimensions and CPD risk, contributing to more effective prevention and management efforts during pregnancy and childbirth
Yan Kristiani, Rosmawati Ibrahim, Julian Jingsung Copyright (c) 2024 Yan Kristiani, Rosmawati Ibrahim, Julian Jingsung https://ojs.pelitaibu.ac.id/index.php/jpasaik/article/view/134 Thu, 01 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of Maternal Age on the Incidence of Disturbed Ectopic Pregnancy at the Bahteramas General Hospital of Southeast Sulawesi Province https://ojs.pelitaibu.ac.id/index.php/jpasaik/article/view/135
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of maternal oge on the incidence of disturbed ectopic pregnancies at the Bahtermas General Hoapital, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Despite this, their knowledge of the disease is still limited. Intensive counseling is carried out to provide a better understanding to students, regarding the causes, treatment, and impact of anemia in adolescents. The results of counseling show that students need to get more information about how to deal with anemia and how to prevent it, especially through iron consumption. The focus of counseling includes understanding a balanced diet rich in iron and the benefits of giving iron tablets as an effort to prevent anemia. Counseling also provides information about the impact of anemia on students' health and daily activities. It is hoped that this increase in knowledge can help students become more active in maintaining their health and overcoming the symptoms of anemia. In addition, this counseling has the potential to form a positive mindset related to health, so that students can provide education to peers and increase awareness of the surrounding community about anemia in adolescents.
Abd.Gani Baeda, Ari Dwidayati, Niaty Sauria, Isra Ningsih Copyright (c) 2024 Abd.Gani Baeda, Ari Dwidayati, Niaty Sauria, Isra Ningsih https://ojs.pelitaibu.ac.id/index.php/jpasaik/article/view/136 Thu, 01 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000
